Show Cats: Portraits of Fine Felines by Larry Johnson

"I received a free copy of the book in exchange for writing a review on my blog"

First off, I love the kitties in this bookShow Cats by Larry Johnson has me super excited. It's exactly what the title tells you. The book presents you with all the cute kitty photos inside that captures not just a few positions, but many of the natural ways they sit, stand and get comfortable! Also, it's not all about a few kittens or cats, but you have here all types of cats from different angles, close up shots, different looks of different styled cats with their eyes, ears, and even tails.

I definitely get that fall in love feeling when I open this book, every time! It's just adorable with all the cats you could ever imagine being inside, and the photos are taking perfectly. The large portraits just grab my attention and the adorable cats just warm the heart. Each photo honestly makes me want to pick those kitties up and hug them, that is how beautiful the photographs are inside.

I also might even be able to find that cat I want to own and have in my life through this book!
There are so many different styles, types, and expressions that make each cat different, something that is seen in each photo. To give a few ideas of what this book captures is the cats in pairs and groups, There portraits alone at different positions, as well as the holiday scenes, which are just adorable. Just looking at what is possible, has me inspired to take a few holiday portraits this year!

Now, there really isn't any photo in here that is small, blurry, clear or just isn't adorable! Every photo has so much irresistible cat love, and the text to help one understand what is being done in each section of this book. Also, the inspiration to get me photographing some beautiful cats comes by just looking at these photos. So, I'm just super excited and really love the portraits of all these fine felines inside!

Horses: Portraits & Stories by Shelley Paulson

"I received a free copy of the book in exchange for writing a review on my blog"

There are books that show photos, guide you with much-needed info on taking a proper photograph, and even those books that just cover all types of subjects to capture. However, I've been really interested in taking photos of horses. This has been ever since the one photo I shot of the mommy horse and her child eating together. It was such a beautiful image and the love and care that it shows, which really makes me happy to just look at daily. So of course, my eyes were directed at this book, Horses by Shelley Paulson when I saw the cover.

It has been just an eye opener with beautiful photos from start to finish, and each photo has an included story which makes your heart fall in love and eyes open just a bit wider. I just adored every single image, the natural look of the horse, the relationship with other animals and humans, and the movements captured perfectly! It's like looking at the real horse, in person and not just at a photograph.

This book has been a big pleasure for me. It's memorable shots of the horse entirely, a look at its real surroundings and just how I wish I could own all of them!  Plus, I'm not just reading about how to take a proper photograph of a horse, how to get the right natural light in position while taking that shot or even just perfecting a portrait shot from a distance. This book takes you up close and doesn't leave out any whisker, nostril, eye or hoof! Now, that is something I really love about this book and why I find it to be one of a kind.

Finally, there is so much in life that is beautiful, but when taking that shot of something you really adore, it just lasts a lifetime! So to have found a book on real horses that capture a story, with a little text to help you envision everything your viewing, well it's just a perfect touch. I am very pleased with this book and feel that I'm extremely inspired to get out there and take some pictures!

Remember them Now and Forever! Classic Sega Games - Ristar and Warlock Video Game Action Adventure

Here are two games today that I've been playing,
full of color and exciting action.
A classic game that had so much bright color and an awesome cool star hero that reminds me of a bit like the game Rayman. However, this is a pretty old and fun game for Sega. Plus, the lovely scenery and music that you hear while playing are very attention-grabbing.

Never played this as a child, but finding out about it now is pretty cool. I actually like the ability to be magical and shoot other enemies. Watching people turn to monsters and animals into big wild beasts, it's pretty awesome! Bit dark, challenging, and action-packed.
